Concept Northern

Concept Northern are Scotland’s leading assistive-technology supplier, specialising in dyslexia assessment, training and support. Experience has shown us that dyslexic learners benefit enormously from incorporating assistive software into their daily routines. We can substantially improve an individual’s ability to communicate and organise – two essential qualities for education and employment. To help school pupils in S1 through S6 and students in higher education gain skills and confidence, we developed our own SQA Customised Award rated on the SCQF framework. The Award is designed especially for learners with dyslexia and uses videos and interactive resources to teach key reading, writing, planning and presentation skills. Learners study at their own pace and can access the learning resources on-demand. They also benefit from support from our specialist training team, who are on-hand to offer advice and guidance tailored to the needs of the individual.
